Born in Barcelona in 1978, Marcel Zamora started his triathlon career at a very early age, his first podium came in 1998 and was swiftly followed by 5 successive wins at Ironman Nice, 6 wins at Embrunman, 2 in Monaco and he became the Catalan Duathlon Champion. In 2009 he became the world record holder for the fastest long distance triathlon.

Whilst Marcel is still competing in international events he is much more focussed in promoting the sport and working to help train up and coming athletes.


From Barcelona, Sandra Jordà started her cycling career as a road and track cyclist, becoming the Catalan Track champion before moving to Mountain Bike and forming part of the Orbea team.

In 2017, Sandra Jordà became the European Ultramarathon Champion and took Silver in the National Eliminator. Winner of the Trans Nomad and also the Spanish MTB Enduro. Most recently Sandra took a podium finish at the Maxi Avalanche European Cup.


Born in Manresa in 1979. Ignacio Ávila is a paralympic sportsman who competes in cycling together with his guide, Joan Font. Avila, with visual disabilities, as well as cycling also competes in athletics, in which he has achieved 2 paralympic medals (a silver one from the 400 meters of the Sydney Paralympic Games in 2000 and a bronze one from the 1,500 meters of Beijing in 2008). In the field of paralympic cycling, he has obtained 9 medals in cycling world championships (3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze).

Joan Font, born in Vilanova i la Geltrú in 1985, started the year 2001 at the Velosprint Cycling Club. In senior category he won several medals at the Spanish Track Championship and several Championships in Catalonia. Since 2012, he has been the guide of Ignacio Ávila, with whom he has won a gold medal in the Road Cycling World Cup (2015), and five silver medals.

In 2017, he won the gold medal in pursuit of the Paralympic Cycling World Championships and they participated in Titan Desert. In 2018, he and Ávila were proclaimed world champions in the World Championship of Cycling in Maniago. This 2019 have already won 3 gold medals in the Track adapted cycling Spanish Championship.
