Day 2
Day 2

Falset - Montbrió del camp, Miami platja, L’Ametlla de Mar- 110 km

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go towards Ametlla de Mar, a typical Mediterranean village, focusing on fishing. The town is known to be one of the unique spots in the world where Bluefin Tunas are farmed (we can take a Tuna-Tour as an optional activity in the afternoon).

We will cross over the coastal mountains to reach our destination, following in the tracks of some of the most famous names in cycling, Miguel Indurain, Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome all of whom have cycled in this area.

L'Ametlla de Mar is known for its beaches with crystalline waters, especially unpopulated in spring season months.

We will take the opportunity to have lunch in one of the many Mediterranean restaurants and taste the seafood and fresh fish.

In the afternoon, we will have free time to discover the coves of the area or to make a swim between tunas in the waters of the Mediterranean accompanied by a small tuna tasting.

Once we have returned to Falset, and just before dinner, we will take a wine tasting of D.O. Priorat and DO Montsant.

Day 3
Day 3

Gratallops, Cabacés, La Bisbal de Falset, Bellaguarda, la Granadella- 100 km

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head out to La Granadella, through Gratallops, Cabacés and several of the most interesting villages of Priorat.

The first stop will be in the village of Gratallops, known as the capital of DOQ Priorat and home to the winemaker Alvario Palacios, responsable for L'Ermita, the first Priorat wine to win 100 points from Robert Parker and now one of the most expensive and sought after wines in the world.

Continuing our route, we will come to Cabacés at just 357 metres above sea level. We will continue discovering this unknown area of Catalonia, and gradually we will immerse ourselves in the landscapes of vineyards and small peaks, typical of this area. Villages such as La Bisbal de Falset, Bellaguarda or la Granadella, are a delight for our senses.

We finish the route in La Granadella, known for virgin extra olive oil production, which can be tasted in the agricultural cooperative in the small town, belonging to DOP Siurana and recognised as one of the nest olive oils in the world.

We will have lunch in La Granadella. After lunch, we will return to the hotel and have a free afternoon to explore Falset.

Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 4
Day 4

Falset - Ginestar, L’Ampolla, Deltebre, Illa de Buda, St. Carles de la Rapida-110km

After breakfast, we will saddle up and head to Sant Carles de la Rápita

Cycling along the Ebro valley we will pass by some of the most characteristic villages of the area such as Ginestar or l'Ampolla, the latter being considered as "the doorway to the Ebro Delta”.

The Delta de l’Ebre Natural Park is the largest wetland in Catalonia and the second largest in Europe, with an extension of 320km2. It has a diversity of fauna and flora of incalculable value, including an area of special protection for birds.

Due to the diversity of the area, we will spend the day between Sant Carles de la Rapita and the Delta de l’Ebre depending on the interests of the group.

We will lunch together and afterwards, there will be free time for everyone to enjoy in their own way this spectacular natural area.

Before dinner, we will return by transfer to Falset.

Day 5
Day 5

Falset – La Mussara, Valls, Tarragona, Reus- 140Km

Breakfast at the hotel.

Itinerary by bicycle through Mussara, Alcover, Valls, Tarragona and Reus.

Since 1959 La Mussara has been abandoned. All that can be seen are eight buildings in ruins, of which the only one preserved in good condition is the old church of San Salvador with its bell tower dated to the year 859.

Following this route you will reach the village of Alcover with an ancient nucleus full of history.

There will be a pause in the town of Valls, giving the option to visit the Museum of Castellers de Catalunya (MCC). Valls has a strong cultural personality, considered km 0 of the world “Casteller” (human towers) and the “calçotada”.

At the end of the route we will arrive Tarragona, also known as "Tarraco" during Roman times.

It was the Roman capital of Hispania and in fact, it was considered the “second capital of the Empire”.

There are still several buildings and monuments that can be visited, such as the amphitheater, the aqueduct, the forum, the walls and even there is a museum of the Necropolis. The whole area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will have lunch at Tarragona and afternoon free to visit the city on our own.
