Day 1

Meet at the 4* Nuba Hotel Coma-ruga around 4pm.

For those that have chosen to rent bikes, they will be delivered at about the same time, just in time for us to head out for a leg stretcher towards the coastal village of Calafell.

Calafell, whose name probaly comes from the Arabic Khalaf al-Fel, is home to a small Romanesque Castle, built around the time of the reconquest, the beautiful church of Sant Miquel, of the same period, plus the Roman site of Vilarenc and an early Iberian settlement.

Belonging to the European network of open air musuems, it is worth spending some time wandering around the historical sites before we head back to Coma-ruga for dinner.

Day 2

After a complete breakfast at the hotel, we will set off towards the mouth of the River Ebro.

This is a coastal route that will allow us to take short breaks on the golden beaches of Altafulla, Cala Forna and El Torn. Lunch will be at the beachside restaurant in El Torn.

We will then continue the ride stopping for another break at Cap Roig in l'Ampolla.

Afterwards, we will head for a tour around the Delta de l'Ebre Natural Park and visit Punta del Fangar beach.

This 320 Km2 area is the second largest wetland in Europe and contains a wealth of Mediterranean fauna and flora, it is a protected reserve for birds, birdwatching being one of the most popular activities in the area, depending the season of the year, home to flamingos and also the place from where most of the rice in Spain comes.

We will take a vehicle transfer back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3

The 3rd day brings us a route that runs through one of the largest wine producing areas in Spain, the Penedès.

Heading towards Vilafranca del Penedes and onto Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.

The first, a 12th Century town which also has remarkable medieval and gothic architecture, is considered the wine capital of Catalonia, while the second, is the global capital of cava production.

We will stop for lunch and wine tasting at the Avgvstvs Forvm Winery in El Vendrell. A winery that has part of the old roman road running through its lands.

Afterwards, we will head back to the hotel where we will enjoy a free afternoon before dinner.

Day 4

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart to the Montserrat mountain, one of Catalonia’s most iconic locations.

Montserrat is synonymous with religion, culture, language and identity for the catalan people. Its name comes from "mont" (mountain) and "serrat" (serrated), because of its shape due to its geology and topography.

Once we have climbed the mountain we will have lunch at one of the most popular restaurants here.

After lunch, we will take a transfer back to the hotel and have some free time.

Dinner will be served at 20:30h at the hotel.

Day 5

Tarragona, where Roman Sites come to life.

The city is a UNESCO World Heritage site and containes some of the best preserved Roman ruins to be found anywhere in Europe including the amphitheatre, the forum, the Roman Walls and a part of the Necropolis.

During the day we will be visiting some of the most popular sites of the area, not only the city (tickets are not included).

We will also visit the Harbour of "El Serallo", where freshly caught fish is bought and sold every afternoon and traditional fishing vessels rub shoulders with the superyachts of the mega rich.

Dinner will be at a local restaurant specialising in Mediterranean Cuisine.

Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 6
Day 6

Last day of riding and we will set off for the Mountains of Prades, a Natural Protected Area in inland Costa Daurada.

Cycling in Costa Daurada is one of the most relaxing and wonderful pleasures, with traffic free roads and spectacular views.

One of the areas of interest that we will visit, is La Mussara, an unhabitated village 900 metres above the sea level with spectacular views of the Costa Daurada.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant, that will show us the local cuisine using only local products, to encourage the local business of the area.

After resting up, we will explore the village before continuing along the route in the direction of Montblanc passing through Poblet, which is a World Heritage Monastery included in the Ruta del Císter.

In Montblanc we will have the chance to shower and change our clothes. We will also have some time to visit the Cava Art Interpretation Centre (optional).

We will take our transfer back to Comarruga and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 7


Breakfast at the hotel and we will pack and take a transfer to Sitges, where we will enjoy the day off.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant. 

Return to the hotel and end of our services.

Final accommodations maybe subject to change owing to circumstances beyond our control. In this instance, accommodation of at least equal category will be used.

Itinerary may be subject to modification owing to circumstances beyond our control including, but not exclusively weather conditions, road works, sporting events and force majeure.

In case of any incident a Sport No Limit Travel representative will be at your disposal.

Force Majeure - Sport No Limit Travel reserves the right to cancel the trip and return monies paid without penalty or recrimination as a result of, but not restricted to Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.


A deposit of 30% of the total will be collected at the time of reservation to secure your booking.

The remaining balance will be collected 30 days prior to the commencement of services.

Sport No Limit Travel reserves the right to cancel the reservation for non payment of balance.

Cancellation and amendment-:

You have the right to cancel or amend your booking at any time, subject to the following conditions and penalties.

  • Amendments to names or dates will be subject to an administrative fee if made less than 30 days prior to the service commencement date
  • Cancellation with more than 10 days and less than 15 days notice will be subject to 5% penalty of the total cost of the package
  • Cancellation with more than 3 days and less than 10 days notice will be subject to a 15% penalty of the total cost of the package
  • Cancellation with more than 1 day and less than 3 days notice will be subject to a 25% penalty of the total cost of the package
  • Non arrival will result in the loss of all monies paid
