In Prats de Rei, in the Alta Anoia Tourism Consortium building, we will be able to taste Veciana cheeses accompanied by Anoia wines, which will serve as a vermouth to get hungry and head to Pujalt for lunch, but before passing through Sant Martí de Sesgueioles, La Guàrdia Pilosa and Conill.
In Pujalt you can have lunch tasting chickpeas from Alta Anoia stewed with pork rib, Sant Martí bread and Veciana goat yogurt with Pujalt honey, all accompanied with Bohigas de l'Anoia cava. At the same time electric bicycles can be charged while taking a guided tour of the camp of the Historical Memory of the Popular Army.
With bikes loaded and full belly, you'll start your return to Igualada, passing the beautiful village of Astor where you can have a coffee and view of the village. Segur, Copons and arrival in Igualada in the Plaça del Ajuntament, by the beautiful paths and paths between streams and mountains loaded with heritage elements such as the church of the Mare de Deu de la Sala, one of the elements of Romanesque Art of Anoia. Arriving in the historic center of Carme, we will have a prepared breakfast with the best cakes and sweets in the Anoia region, with local nuts and seasonal, soaked with homemade muscatel and ratafia. After breakfast, we head to Coll Bas and once at the top of the mountain range we will descend to Vilanova, on the way we'll enjoy its paths without difficulty among pine forests in the area of the Esquellades. Arriving at the Fluvial Park, we enter Igualada through the Rec district and we'll meet again in the town hall square with a popular vermouth accompanied by live music to make it snack, commenting on the anecdotes on the route.
