'Volta als Ports Andorra' Sportive (8th – 15th July 2019)

Andorra is the perfect place to get to grips with pedalling uphill for inordinate lengths of time, pick a road at random and before long you’ll be en route to a spectacular Pyrenean pass. There are 74 peaks in excess of 2000M squeezed into an area of just 470 square Km, which is why it has played host to the Tour de France five times since 1964, featured 2 complete stages of the Vuelta a España in 2015 and 2018 and has been part of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya more than 30 times.

Andorra is fast becoming the place to live if you are a professional cyclist, La Massana is home to cyclists such as Joaquim Rodriguez (El Purito), Dan Martin and Estevan Chaves, with many more choosing the principality as their home and training base.

Getting there is easy, Barcelona, Girona and Toulouse airports are all equidistant from Andorra and are all served by the lo-cost carriers.
