The Costa Daurada or Golden Coast is a marine littoral of some 300 Km of coastline with Golden Sandy beaches, rolling hills and natural parks set amongst stunning mountain scenery. With over 3000 Km of secondary roads, perfectly surfaced and traffic free, it is a true cycling paradise.
Varied terrain, accessibility, fantastic weather and a great choice of accommodations are just some of the reasons that many cyclists are switching from more traditional destinations like Mallorca and the Costa Blanca.
Many riders from the pro peloton are now choosing Cambrils and Salou as their winter training base and every year we are seeing more and more professional cyclists taking to the roads of the Costa Daurada.
But it isn’t all about road cycling; here you can find thousands of Kilometres of mountain trails, some of the best singletrack in Spain, plus gravel tracks and greenways. Add to this the gastronomy, some of the best wine producing regions in the world, the history and the friendliness of the people and you have a recipe for greatness.
